About the Job

As an Invoicing Specialist at Savage Group, you will be responsible for accurately generating and processing invoices for our oil and gas operations. This includes verifying field tickets, job logs, and purchase orders to ensure compliance with client contracts and pricing agreements. The ideal candidate has experience with industry-standard invoicing systems and a keen eye for detail to maintain financial accuracy and support timely revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and process accurate invoices based on field tickets, job logs, and purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with client contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Collaborate with field personnel to verify job completion and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of all invoicing activities and support documentation.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to billing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of invoicing or billing experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and clients.​

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with invoicing software such as SAP or QuickBooks.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific billing platforms.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.​

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment with standard working hours.
  • Occasional extended hours during peak billing cycles or to meet deadlines.
  • Collaboration with field teams may require occasional travel to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: DOE

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
